I have a Tempurpedic for one bed, but wanted something less expensive for the other bed. This mattress is every bit as supportive and comfortable as the tempurpedic without the "breaking in" required for that other mattress. It was comfortable from Day 1 and had essentially no odor. Would definitely recommend this mattress.

I love this particular memory foam mattress ! After reading many reviews of other memory foam mattresses there seems to be a lot of variation in memory foam mattresses in consideration of many personal preferences too soft/too firm. I do not think this mattress is either too soft or too firm. When you initially lay on it the first impression is that maybe too firm however, after laying there for a minute and settle into the memory foam you feel very supported without any body pressure that irritates regular spots such as lower back and shoulders which were always main focal points of short comings of many matresses for myself. I have not quite owned this mattress for a month and already consider it to be one of the best purchases I have made in my lifetime. I have shoulder pain which is continuous and never goes away, since I have purchased this mattress I now wake without shoulder pain and my pain levels throughout the day have significantly diminished.

My husband has recurring pain from an old hip injury and our pillowtop mattress just wasn't working for him anymore. After seeing this mattress at Sam's Club (it was only $499 there) we read some reviews and decided to give it a try. The first few nights were terrible. Woke up feeling like we slept on the floor, it is really THAT firm. So we did what other reviewers had done and bought a 2" memory foam topper for it (got a good quality one at Bed, Bath and Beyond, so a little pricey but the quality was important to us.) That made ALL the difference in the world! Now we are able to sleep on it just fine. We found a frame for it right here on Amazon [...] that we LOVE. So the mattress is ok and we do think it will last a long time. It seems well made. But I only gave it 3 stars because it needed a topper for sure.
