I had just been shopping for this pan at the local Sur la Table store and it was almost $200. I was amazed when I saw this for only $84. I had to swoop it up. The only thing different is that there was no velvet bag--not that I would store my pan in a velvet bag but if that velvet bag is worth $120 then they can have the velvet bag.
I haven't put this pan through the paces but I'm confident I'll love it given it's welded handle and quality and durability. My dream pan would be a DeMeyer pan with a Scanpan lid.

Great price for the highest quality! Crafted beautifully, it will be a pot handed down to my kids. I have been using it daily for two months and it looks it just came out of the box. It heats evenly and quickly on my induction range (can't blame the tools, gotta blame the cook now....) have used for cooking just about anything. Would definitely buy again.
