I incorporated this RAM into a new computer build that I recently completed. For reference, I'm using an ASUS Corsshair V 990FX motherboard. AMD 1100T Hex Core (3.3Ghz) processor. EVGA GTX 570 HD video card.

The RAM sticks along with their heat sinks installed easily. I had no space issues. Everything is working fine (thankfully). No complaints. The price was right as well. The computer supply stores on Pricewatch had lower quality RAM for $30 more than the $90 that I paid for this setup through Amazon. I highly recommend it.

16Gb might even be a bit overkill at the moment given the system requirements of the newest games currently on the market. But, I built this computer with the idea that it will still be a "good" system 4-5 years from now.

Cons:
I run a msi 990fxa-gd80 mobo (BIOS 11.6) and I can not get the ram to run stable at 1600mhz. Long story short, it is a combination of AMD and Corsair so buyers should check up on any compatibility issues between the board they use and this ram.

The heat spreaders on top of the ram stick up pretty far. I had an issue installing a custom cpu cooler do to contact with the heat sinks.

That being said were my only issues.

Pros:

I installed all the ram sticks and BIOS/Windows showed all 16gb.
the ram is now under $100, that is unbelievably fantastic.

I know looks aren't much of anything, but four sticks of Corsair Vengeance Blue looks like it was absolutely made for my ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe motherboard (which also sports blue heat-sinks) and Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 case (black, with blue accents).

Anyway, the RAM was well packaged and each stick was in its own protective packaging in the box. Installation was a breeze and I had no spacing issues or anything. Click-snap-power-zoom.

If there's one caution I would offer, it's that the fins atop the Corsair RAM are rather large, and if you have a small, compact system or oversized CPU cooler, there could be conflicts. In that case, you might want to go with the Corsair 16 GB Vengeance Blue Low Profile 1600mhz PC3-12800 240-pin Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit 16 Dual Channel Kit - CML16GX3M4A1600C9B instead.
